Over the last five years, the creative industries sector in the UK has grown at a faster pace than the UK national economy. Over the course of the next five years established companies like ITV Granada Television, Guardian Media Group and McCann Erickson will be joined by the BBC and the Royal Opera House as well many small and medium sized companies serving these and other organisations active in the creative industries. To prepare for the future of the creative industries in Manchester a lot needs to be done to help creative organisations to develop and grow.
Creative Manchester is one important part of the support being developed in the region to help these changes.
We have worked with individuals and organisations from the advertising, craft, design, fashion, performing arts and software industries and have a range of general courses and specific training solutions for companies like McCann-Erickson, and EConsultancy. These courses combine established in-house training with bespoke educational content from MMU resulting in fully accredited undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
We also have a large number of very successful taught courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level to meet the needs of current and potential employees in the creative industries. For a full list of the courses currently available, click here
